Disc for Butterfly Valve

Butterfly valve disc, which is installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. Butterfly valve, also known as flap valve, is a kind of regulating valve with simple structure. In the cylindrical channel of the valve body of the butterfly valve, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the valve shaft to achieve opening and closing, and the rotation angle is between 0° and 90°. When it is rotated to 90°, the valve is fully open.

Butterfly valve disc is the opening and closing piece that controls the flow and circulation of the medium. It plays a vital role in the entire valve structure. It can be operated by the handle or by turbine, pneumatic, electric and other equipment. The quality of the valve disc determines the overall performance of the valve. The smoothness of the contact surface between the valve disc and the rubber seat determines the quality of the valve’s tightness.

The butterfly valve disc is divided into Center-line valve plate, double shaft valve plate, pin-less valve plate.
